Fun Facts About MeCaldwell Urgent Care Provider Alex Casebolt, PA-C

Here are some interesting and perhaps surprising facts about me!

My Favorite Color: It's a tough choice between purple and blue, but I love color in general.

Origin: I was born and raised here in Treasure Valley. I was a Caldwell High School grad back in the day. My maternal grandparents bought a 5-acre farm in 1944, approximately in Meridian, for $100.00 an acre. Crazy how times change.

Hidden Talent: I can tie a cherry stem into a knot using my tongue, LOL.

● Dream Travel Destination: I love the ocean, and there are several I have not seen. Really helps me reset my zen.

Hobby: I love working on projects. My grandfather was a cabinet maker, so I like to work with wood. I like model trains and planes.

Comfort Food: Nothing beats the three essentials: Love, lard, and salt. My extended family is from the south, and we love our eats.

Early Bird or Night Owl? Definitely an early bird for the most part. I work 12-hour shifts and by the time I’m home in the evenings, I’m beat and my brain is dead.

● First Concert: My first concert was Van Halen with original lead David Lee Roth. As a teenager, I camped out overnight at the local Albertsons to get tickets.

Favorite Pastime: I truly enjoy just spending time with my family. I am a very giving person, and for me, I get most joy from helping others in some way, form or fashion. If I've had a rough, busy day, sometimes I just veg in front of the TV and chill and relax.

Pet Peeve: Entitled people, or people who think their poop don’t stink.

● Something I'm Learning: As a provider, I am always learning something. I tell patients I know a little bit about a lot of things, and specialists know a lot about a few things. As far as personal growth, I conscientiously am working on my listening skills, and not interrupting people when they are speaking. It’s a work in progress, and I suspect it’s a provider thing.
